Ann Vereecken and Jeroen Worst, the duo behind Studio Simple, possess the gift of highlighting everyday beauty through almost obvious objects, adding something special to everyday habits. Two cake stands have been added to an ever-growing list of everyday objects designed for Serax, made from concrete. “We love to bake and eat. Presenting homemade food in a good way is at least as important to us as the taste. We like to think that the taste gets even better on our simple dishes!” Ann laughs. The gray concrete cake stands look good on any table and in any kitchen, where sharing food and aesthetics helps create good vibes. In combination with Dunes wood slabs, the purity of the material comes into play even more.
